Soccer

The last game of the season was lacking players so Delilah offered to step in.  (This surprised me!)

I only caught her doing 2 cartwheels!

Each girl loves soccer for her own reason:

Soccer

Delilah goes to soccer to play with the other siblings who are not playing.  She loves it.

Soccer

Addison plays soccer.  They constantly change their positions to try out new things.  She has scored and assisted on offense.  She listens very well to her coaches on defense to shift up and back.  She's played (and liked) goalie, as well.

Soccer

Last year, Addison said she wanted to try soccer out next year.  So I signed them up.  Delilah never asked to, but so far I've been keeping them together for most activities.

As you can tell from Delilah's face, she wasn't very interested.

Addison was super excited.

She wanted to try it all out, including goalie.

Plus, she loves the socialization with teammates.

Delilah took it in doses.  She gave it a go, but fizzled quickly.

She was given strict orders (from her mom) to NOT do cartwheels on the field.  So she found other ways to entertain herself.

All said and done, both girls got something out of the soccer season that they wanted.

Addison improved her skills and learned a bit about the sport.
Delilah got the trophy that she longed for.

Soccer

It's very interesting to watch games and practice.  Addison is the one who requested and appears to be more committed.  I asked Delilah to play since Addison wanted to and she's pretty much committed to socializing and cartwheels!

Pictures

This is the extent of our photos from the photo shoot...as just the group picture was $10!  Plus, you know Delilah's feelings on the sport...not really worth my investment in pictures.
