Sewing
Delilah stated she wanted to sew a skirt.
She persisted and I finally got organized to assist.
(they are her fashion glasses...not real...but super cute!)

From the heart
Last year Delilah made a book for Addison about a dolphin named Dolpharina. She made a sequel this year as a gift for her sister.

Art
Addison: this is my caricature I did in art class.
Mom: what's a caricature?
Addison: they are exaggerated portraits
It's perfect. She got her own details that are special to her individual character.

Halloween Festivities
The girls went to a celebration at the library and did games, crafts and face-painting. (They were fortunate that the neighbors invited them to go as I was banning this event based on previous experience)

Scooby Doo all the way
Delilah was pretty insistent upon making her own trick-or-treat bag. She asked me to draw her a picture of Scooby Doo and she set off to making her own bag. I was pretty sure it would be too much of a hassle to carry.. especially after the string broke. She didn't care...the compliments she got throughout the night were well worth it to her and she's already planning for next year.

Art Show
Delilah has been dying for the last few months....so excited to talk about her artwork that she was sure would be picked for the art show. She was right...so we got the invitation to see her piece at the college and go to the art show presentation.
