Old Photo Friday
Oh, wow! I feel like I'm looking at a game here.
Can you see something from your childhood?:
the rocking chair
the cobbler's bench
the old-fashioned phone
the old man painting
the knitted blanket
the clock
the record player
Now, try to spot the differences from the house you know!

Old Photo Friday
Fall 1981
I remember this! It was when we were visiting Grandpa in Ohio and we met Aunt Judy for the 1st time. We were sitting on the floor near his stairs and Aunt Judy taught me how to draw people.

Auntie Visit
While daddy-man went on a hunting trip with some friends up to the mountains, the girls and I went for a L-O-N-G ride to visit Aunties. Luckily, Marmy came with us for the ride and we stopped half-way to pick up Aunt Melinda. There, we enjoyed a night in a hotel with a pool which was F-U-N regardless of it's chilly temperature. Then on to DC in the morning to catch up with the other aunties.
We were lucky enough to have nice weather when we were there and did a DC trip to some museums. To satisfy the girls individual passions, we went to a museum to see dinosaurs and passed by a castle. We even saw a "tower" which Addison stated probably had a princess living in there.

Old Photo Friday

Next weekend is our Great-Grandpa's 100th Birthday.
He raised some wonderful boys and Grace was a beautiful wife. Doesn't this photo just tell you that?
We're starting to think about our trip to Ohio to go to his party...it's gonna be awesome to get some family time in. If our Great-Grandma was still here with us, she'd be celebrating her birthday as well because they shared the same day!
Here was some fam time together with Great-Grandma June not too long ago, but before we were here.

Goodbye to a Great Cousin

Daddy got some sad news the other day. His cousin Greg passed away after a short bout with Cancer. Greg was a really great guy. Mommy met him once and took to him right away. He had that kind of personality. Daddy and grandpa often speak fondly of him and everyone is very sad that he is gone.
Here's a picture of daddy with his cousins Greg and Gary. It's neat to look at these old pictures and think about such great times with family.
