I just love this picture...seeing mom and dad like this makes me smile. Looking at dad's pants makes me smile...he was so hip! Looking at mom all bundled with her long hair showing and squeezing a babe makes me smile. Looking at my little face in that furry coat makes me smile. Remembering those trips to "go for a car ride" or "see the geese" makes me smile although I used to detest them!

I believe that photo-shot was set on a timer and we were not in place. Melinda is the babe in my arms (smiling bundle of blue!!), and MJR is not to be seen. He must be standing near the tripod waiting to be summoned. The scene is captured at Alabama Swamps, the geese stopover.
