Growing Up

The girls have watched our neighbors (both across the street and next door) for the last year, yearning to play often.  On occasion, they have...but it's become a bit more regular lately.  Today's post was a first, though.

They asked permission to go ask the girls next door to play and I agreed if they played in our front yard on where I could see.

So, off they went to knock on the door.

Little sister was the first to join.

But then the bus made it's drop and big sister joined as well as across the street neighbor asking to join in.  Five kids playing and I was as happy as they were!
