This photo would have been snapped by Dad prior to Melanie riding in the Wilson Firemen's parade. She is featuring a swim suit worn for an Hawaiian theme that was performed for Miss Diane's recital. (Otherwise,a one piece was worn in order to protect the skin from the sun's rays.) Melanie's age at that time is almost that which the twins are right now.So Melinda was almost a year and bright-eyed and happy to be held. MJR's expressive face is similar to Jaida's animated countenance. Believe me, my mom loved being grandma. She delighted in being in the company of her little grandkids. I see this pic and know she was happy and loving you completely. I also believe she is comletely in love at home today in the third heaven.
I think we all miss her dearly. Of course, as Mom says, she is in our Father's home now. (Is anyone else lost with the third heaven? I'm sure Mom will explain once she reads this.)
How about the story when she was in the hospital and she would call her house and leave messages so that it wouldn't feel empty? She certainly was a character.
