Nature Girls

 

 

Ezra wanted to take the girls fishing.  He packed up all fishing gear..big and little!  I packed snacks for the day.  Just a little jaunt to our local mini falls.  

They fished...but it didn't last for long.  

The call to go adventure was too strong.  

So off they went to climb some rocks.  Delilah is my typical daredevil, but not this trip.  Addison has recently been trying to be more independent and was in full swing today. 

 

Delilah was quite content with dipping her feet, but Addison wanted to go climbing. I was not happy about this as there were a lot of rocks and the water was moving enough to make me nervous.  She blatantly ignored my calls to not continue. 

 

So I was very happy that I didn't have two daredevils to watch this day...Delilah's toe-dipping was easy enough to monitor while I chased her sister who was on a mission for adventure.

Practice

Practice for me that is.  I take my girls to the playground but it's really a chance for me to try taking pics!  I tried a bunch, but this playground was really difficult.  It was one of those wooden ones like good old Thomas Marks.  {Do you know I can still remember working on that and Theresa being a part of it?!?}  Like TM's pirate ship, this one had a theme as well.  It was a castle...right up my girls' alley!  Well, unfortunately I didn't get any pics I liked. 

So upon leaving, I made them sit down in a patch of dandelions.  They sat, picked, played and were content as was I!
