That's what made me realize that someone was correcting it. Shortly after this incident we had a parent-teacher conference and Mrs. Johnson said we needed to look into getting both girls tested.
So, last week, Ezra and I took the girls to get an evaluation done. They both scored high in the cognitive tests. In fact, they pushed the high side of "average" and even beyond in a couple of categories. On the other side...the side where our concern lie...they both scored severely low. The term sounds so negative...but we needed them to be severely low in order to qualify for speech services. It really just comes down to not pronouncing some letters correctly and they need to learn how to enunciate the different types of sounds and letter combinations. Soon we'll have to have a CPSE to see what the district will suggest. Now, we wait and do some of our own modeling and practicing.

Okay...now I guess they'll have to work on all of their aunties' real names... We know they have Khanchi's name down since they used to sit and just practice her name. I'm sure that Madelyn's name will be the biggest challenge for them.
The real work comes when they are expected to say all of the Reid names rapidly and in the correct order.
By the way, I like how when you ask what her real name is and Addison answers, "Hearty."
At this point:
