It's that time of year again. Gotta get your pumpkins ready to go for the next step. In our house, the question was to carve or decorate. I loved the decorating of them and I'm still not fond of carving.
MJR, SIZE-WISE, who has the largest pumpkin here? I bet Khanchi loved the Melinda comment which used that word!
I am loving this pic. More and more I am grateful that your father photographed what I had considered to be the must mundane of themes. Now I am grateful. And the blessing of his work come to renewed life almost every Friday on Melanie's blog. Of course, if Meredith hadn't taken her time when we were at 231 to categorize the hefty pics, we might not be enjoying the memories. I also appreciate everyone's comments that are so often written in response to viewing. As adults you see our family life through a different lens.
By the way credits for contents are hair by Dad, clothing by mom, pumpkins and all the bounty by God.
Don't worry, after I read the published word I did see the error in the subject-verb agreement...comes. And the irony is that the word verification that I have to use this time is SILYMERS! Loving that?
Melanie - I agree with you about the whole carving thing. I prefer a nice round pumpkin not carved. Tom and Luke want to carve them all. Luke wants to carve now!

Meredith Anne, pull down your dress. I can see right up it!
Melanie, are you planning on throwing that pumpkin at our cameraman?
Michael, don't you look like a handsome young man here....
I think that there's not too much of a difference between Meredith and I size-wise. Too bad I can't say the same thing today!
