Philadelphia!

We took a long weekend recently to visit Grandpa and Mimi in Philadelphia.  Thankfully, the girls were strapped into their new seats and the trip went smoothly.  The trip was good, the weather was nice, our company was great.

Our first day was filled with sooo many animals at the  zoo in Philadelphia. The zoo is beautiful and huge.  It beats our "yil" Seneca Park Zoo...but I still love ours!

As we were walking along to find daddy (who was lost during an emergency potty run), a peacock crossed our path..literally.  So off the girls went...not making a happy feathered friend!

Our second day was just a simple play-outside day.  The girls found a "swing" at grandpa's which gave them quite a bit of entertainment.  The weather was perfect...cool and sunny.
The next day we ventured for a walk.

It was such a nice, easy trip.  Ezra and I were a little nervous about how the girls would be.  It's a long ride (about 6 hours) and they were in someone else's house (they tend to touch a lot!).  But everything was great and we're starting to feel that maybe we can put in some more "yil" trips...I'm sure we've got some family itching for a houseful of noise!!??

These guys are so alike!  like father, like son!
I'm so happy to have them both in my life.
