Crafting....

I have been puzzled about how to give them more crafting opportunities. They've got stickers down pat...but otherwise I don't know what they can do. So wonderful Marmy gave me this idea. If you don't know, she was truly skilled in her window-painting skills and I have memories of many different window scenes, holiday or not. So I painted the pumpkins and let the girls paint them in. This was easy to do and easy to handle mess-ups.

They were pretty proud of our 4 lil' Jack O-Lanterns!

In fact, I walked into the room downstairs to see that Addison enjoyed it so much, she'd taken matters into her own hands and continued window painting with diaper cream!

Mary did have some beautiful works of art on our windows.

Nice activity and tell Addison she can come wipe diaper cream on Aunt Madsy's windows anytime she wants.

That is awesome! What did you use to paint on the windows? Luke would love this. How do you get it off. Details please. Thanks.

But spiders are even more fun to make. I recall that the threesomeReidsisters liked that because they were able to use their fingers for the entire works. Think of little fingers making legs, nice stroke. The end of their pinkie is a good size for eyeballs. Afterwards, the adult can camouflage mistakes in the web you spin.
