Lost lost tooth

Delilah lost her first tooth on December 18th, 2013.  She came running off the bus to tell me.  It was in an envelope.  It was the tiniest little thing.  At bedtime, Addison was holding it.  (I don't know all the details and this is unclear as to why she'd be holding it).  Addison dropped the tiny little white tooth on the dingy white berber rug!  We searched and searched.  We used flashlights.  We lifted things. We shook things.  It was no use.  So Delilah wrote that Tooth Fairy an explanation.  She did get a quarter still and she got a very nice note from the Tooth Fairy.

Do you know how jealous poor Addison is of this situation?  I don't think she lost that tooth on purpose and she did claim to feel very badly about it.  But it was pretty intense in our house with her strong feelings...so much so that we decided to keep Delilah's second wiggly a secret for a little bit!  She was able to maintain the secret for four days before she decided to tell Addison....who was very mad to say the least.
