Addison walked faster than Delilah, so at one point Addison stopped to encourage her to walk faster.
Nicole, the bride, had them deliver love notes before she walked down.
Pictures after in the church occurred about 4 pm. My girls went into breakdown mode. I wasn't prepared for tears. Addison refused to get her picture taken.
We left, skipped the outdoor pictures with the bridal party and went to re-nourish the girlies. I totally wasn't prepared with a snack and felt rotten that such a trivial thing caused a scene.
At the reception, they were ready to go. They danced outside by the fountain for the bride and groom as their limo arrived and then happily posed for pictures.
Nicole had a very big bridal party and a lot of backstage planning was going on when it was time to announce everyone at the reception. Since the girls were last, they witnessed all the fun and wacky ways the different couples walked out when announced. They came up with their own way to be silly! I was so proud of them for not being shy and following through.
The pictures don't show what they did....but it was hands up and then hands down to the ground and repeat.
Then the night continued with dancing by all! Our first dance was a request we made for "hey there, Delilah"...her all time favorite song.
I truly adore Nicole. She's a great person and I am touched that she has maintained a relationship with me so many years after graduating.

Hey, thanks for sharing what we could not see. I laughed when I thought about the twins joining in the drum roll entertaining entrance-making. They know how to improvise and make merry.
