Twins they are.
Not identical.
Obviously.
Not their personalities either.
This is a perfect snapshot of their differences.
They do play together.
A lot.
But they need some alone time.
Delilah needs to get her crafty outlet working.
Addison needs some tv time to zone out.
It works for us.
They get their needs.
btw - Delilah's craft was so sweet. She wanted to make an extra something special for her friend's birthday. We had already made her some peg dolls of the four girls (Addison, Delilah, Mathea and Mairi) and their two bunnies. Delilah made her a picture with some very special things...flowers (the party request per mom was flowers in lieu of gift) and a banner (the ones we lent for decorations).

Melanie, Simultaneously photographing and catching each twin in their essence was a great Venn diagram featuring the closet, Rueben and the entryway as common property. The photo really does justice to the private personality of a Thomas twin and it is not just some random event. One engrossed and bubbling over like an artsy crafter; the other pretty is likewise in rapt and cooly sitting limber and loose.
