Easter Egg Hunt

I forgot to post about our annual Easter Egg Hunt in our neighborhood.  This was our 4th year.
Ages 1-3 go first at the house of the family who set it up.  We watched them. I reminisced.  Then we head over to the playground for the bigger kids to go.

They separate the playground by age level and just scatter eggs galore.

When they began, my girls headed right for the rock wall.  They went right past a dozen eggs because they wanted to do it the fun way!

Then they just did a random pick-up.  Delilah got stuck.....she just stood there staring and watching.

Then it was time to empty the eggs to gather their jelly beans and see if they'd won any prizes. Only one this year by Addison, but Delilah was given a consolation prize!

Later the girls colored some eggs I drew and we wrote a thank you card to the family because I think they are so kind to put together a neighborhood event.
