Valentine Countdown

 Like last year, we've been doing a Valentine Countdown.  My twist this year was to do a Valentine Countup since the girls know their numbers and I thought going backwards would be a bit difficult.  I just numbered a bunch of index cards 1-14 and wrote the activity of the day.  Some were similar to past activities. 

We did heart tic-tac-toe again. We did a puzzle again.  We made classmate cards again.  This was not an easy task since both girls were required to write their classmates' names and their own.  I also didn't want to give candy but am under the impression that many others will be giving so we did our own cards decorated with stickers and stamps.  Addison gave crazy straws and we wrote "I'm CRAZY about you. Delilah gave stickers and wrote "I'm STUCK on you".  This event took days between getting them to sit down and write ALL 19 names and then choose which classmate got which color straw or stickers.   


We painted a bit differently than in the past.  (Did you look at that link?  They're so little!)  I had some really nice pics of the activity...but deleted a whole mess of pics from my camera!  So I've got the results for you. I took toilet paper rolls and squeezed them a bit to make a heart shape. 

  

Also, the girls have received some Valentine's from some loving people. Aunt Melin sent some pictures, stickers, tic tacs and small gifts.  Grandma-From-The-Mountains made a hand-made card and cookies.  They are so perfect.  Thank you for your kindness...the girls love it!
