Grandma-from-the-mountains got the girls a board game for Christmas. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant because they've not followed rules yet with games. With some other games I've tried, they've taken the pieces and/or rules and did their own thing with that. Not a big deal, but this game had lots of little pieces and I wasn't in the mood to chase them down to ensure that we had a complete game.
But we tried and it was a success. It's perfect for their age. It teaches the basics of a game...following the rules, the order, waiting your turn, throwing a die (which Addison has tried to manipulate to land on what she wants), and teamwork (their newest motto...I'll tell you later).
Thanks, Grandma-from-the-mountains!

Looks like Melinda and Addison are going to have something in common - extreme competition with board games!
