Biking

Now that it's so nice outside, we are frequently going for walks and bike rides.  The girls have each claimed their bikes and are pretty speedy on them.  Delilah zooms along on this little lion even though we have a different tricycle for her.  I think that the trike is too much like a recumbent bike and she's not able to get enough exertion, like on a traditional upright trike.  To my surprise, both girls jumped on neighbor Morgan's bike with training wheels and were to able to easily peddle down the road...hmm....to wait another year or not??  Either way, we are fortunate enough to have two different routes that are safe.  We can head over to the patio homes which are behind us.  They have a sidewalk and the few drivers that we see are older since it's a 55+neighborhood.  Or we can stay in our little track which doesn't have sidewalks but since it's no outlet, there's not a lot of through traffic.
