It's About Time!

The girls received robes from Marmee and Papa for Christmas.  Addison received the one with hearts since it has pink and purple and hearts.  Easy going-Delilah got the striped, pink one.  They've been minorly obsessed with their fave colors lately.  They literally talk about everything based on colors.  Delilah gets the green, orange and blue sippy cups while Addison gets the red ones because they call them pink.  Addy gets the pink and purple plates while Delilah gets the orange, yellow, blue and green ones.  They choose clothes, toys, blocks and crayons based on colors. So I've been wondering why the robes haven't been an issued.  Finally after their shower, while I was brushing hair, the girls were conversing.  Suddenly, Delilah noticed and proclaimed "your robe orange."  I suggested that she ask her sister if she wanted to trade.  So, Delilah asked "you tade with me, Addson?"  She agreed and the trade was enacted.  It's funny, but it feels right now.  These robes seem to fit them better this way, coinciding with each little girl and her unique personality.
