Anyways, they need wands...so I made them. I picked out colors best suited for my little ones, then took some dowels and wrapped ribbon around them, attaching both ends with clothespins. From there I baked them at 275 for 20 minutes.

Then I unwrapped the ribbon, trimmed them, gathered them up, tied them all together and put fray check on the ends so that they wouldn't unravel.
I had already painted and glittered the dowels and had Ezra drill some holes in them so that I could tie my bunch of ribbon right in.Presto!
Two adorable little wands for my little cherubs.
(FYI: It was a matter of hours before they started to come undone thanks to my wild cherubs! I fixed them up, but I should have known!)

You are amazing!! How creative. What a crafty Mom!! I can only hope. Awesome!! Of course my little one prefers tools (because of Daddy) (because of Mommy) but what can you do.
What's a cherub? And can I have one? Our kitties would love it.
hoooowww cool!! did they see you making them?
Uncle Dom saw them and said they'd be perfect kitty toys! They didn't watch me do the ribbon, just the painting. They weren't happy that they couldn't help with the painting...could you imagine if they saw the ribbon out and what a disaster that'd be...like when little ones get ahold of the toilet paper and unravel it!
