Strong Museum of Play

It's just perfect for toddlers.

We went to Elmo's house and jumped on his bed, played with his toys, visited Dorothy and saw his recording studio.

We also went to Sesame Street and saw our fave characters: Big Bird, Bert, Elmo, Grover and Cookie Monster! Then we took Elmo and Cookie Monster for a ride in the taxi.

Overall, we just played and ran and played and ran and played and ran....so much fun!!!!!11

Spring Play

We love smelling the flowers and picking the "yuck" flowers. Delilah has been a great help with those dandelions and she's watched me weeding them and joined right in.

My little girls are getting to be big girls. They climb that slide with ease and "go" on their own. Aunt Meredith taught them how to say "go" and they use it appropriately.

Pig Tails #2!

Yay! Look at Addison who looks like such a cute girl! No confusion with this hairstyle!

Look at the toddlers having some twin-style fun in the sun.

Old Photo Friday

I'm pretty sure this was the day of a Recital...but that outfit turned out to be a future dress-up outfit. Thank goodness for all those recitals, what a way to build a dress-up wardrobe!

Bubbles!!!!!!!!

Let's go outside and enjoy the fresh air. Bundle up...get the bubbles out!

The pics aren't great...I just can't blow bubbles and take the pic to get their wonderful smiles. Here's a glimpse at the smiles...they are fabulous!

Big Girls

Sometimes, when mealtime is difficult, we really have to be creative to get the girls (Addison!) to settle down. Recently we've been able to all them to sit at the table and eat with us.

Indoor Jungle Gym

We have a new toy with daddy's walker! Notice Addison's jump attempt. I've seen her trying to jump off the bottom step and wasn't surprised at this attempt. But we can't figure out why she stopped.

My name is....

My video isn't the best captured moment....but they really are working on saying their names. Delilah has started to call for Addison...in the house, in the store, at her side!

My parents have been such an incredible help throughout my life. They are wonderful, loving parents and grandparents. Over the last few weeks, Ezra has been in rough shape and they have come through to help throughout. We cannot tell you how fortunate we are to have them. They've driven the hour-drive numerous times in the early morning to come spend an action-packed day with non-stop energetic toddler-twins.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

New Toy

A slide...another find on craigslist! It's AWESOME!!!!!
Do you know that it's so much better than just sliding down?
You can go backwards and upwards and under and on your belly and climb on your sister and use it as a ladder!

Court Visit

Mommy went to court for a little ticket that she received and we went along with her to give her some company.

A police officer gave us stickers that were pretty fun.

Aunt Mere went also to give her some childcare support!

We liked playing there. There was room to explore and chairs to climb on and a hall to run in!

Happy Easter

Our wonderful little neighborhood has an annual Easter egg hunt...so we got to experience our first one! We waited with anticipation as the kids crowded around. Note Delilah's serious-public face. They told us what to do and we were off!

Grandma Skye and Lucy went with us and we did a great job. We knew just what to do.

We got to take some of the eggs home, although mommy insisted on returning most of them to the nice family who hosted the event. (They even provided awards, popcorn and juice!) Afterwords, we discovered that there were jelly beans inside the eggs and went on a sugar binge!

(she's looking for more eggs w/jellybeans)

This event was so great that Aunt Melin recreated it for us at Lockhaven. What a hit!!!!!!!!

I guess that watching birds is a typical thing to do with a family and entertainment enough for the children. My girls love watching "bids" and "ducks" and I'm going to need to plan a trip for some geese watching! Remember those trips?
I wonder if those bonnets are still around? Maybe we'll need to put another request in with gramama. She did make those beautiful summer bonnets last year...they're so adorable.
