my day off with the girls for Memorial Day. We were so fortunate to have nice weather and my father-in-law here. We were intrigued during the morning with the trucks that were working near 0ur house, so off we went for a walk to investigate.
After our investigating, we got to play a bit on the deck. I look at the deck now and think back to all those hours of painting over the summer...I'm so happy that I did it. I love our deck and now it's visually to comfortable hang out there. Today was a first as Addison showed off some more refined kicking skills that I've not yet seen.
Turns out that they were making a path over to the next cul-de-sac. Lucky for us as it creates a nice destination for our walks.
So we watched them build and
headed off to the duck pond down the road. (don't you know this is one of my fave views!?)

I don't think this was Memorial day ... you usually don't see this many leaves at the end of May.
